On Sunday evening, Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant played for the Western Conference in the 2024 All-Star Game.  

The 14-time All-Star had 18 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals while shooting 7/12 from the field and 4/8 from the three-point range in 25 minutes of playing time (the Western Conference lost by a score of 211-186)

During the game, Durant made All-Star Game history by moving to third on the all-time scoring list

Via The Phoenix Suns on Monday: "Additionally, last night KD surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Michael Jordan to move into 3rd on the @NBA all-time All-Star Game scoring list! 

He trails only LeBron James and Kobe Bryant."

On Monday, Durant made a post to Instagram that had nearly 300,000 likes in 13 hours. 

Durant captioned his post: "ASW24"

Durant will turn 36 in September but still remains among the best players in the league. 

The 2014 MVP is averaging 28.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.3 blocks per contest while shooting 53.8% from the field and 44.3% from the three-point range in 48 games. 

He was the second pick in the 2007 NBA Draft out of Texas and is in his second season with the Suns. 

The two-time NBA Champion has also spent time with the Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder. 

As for the Suns, they are currently the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 33-22 record in 55 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and will visit the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday evening in Texas.
