The Golden State Warriors have won the NBA Championship in four out of the previous eight seasons (and been to the Finals six times in that span).

They do a lot of things right as an organization, so they haven't made many mistakes in recent memory.

That said, the team is desperately in need of more size.

They drafted center James Wiseman with the second pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, but he wasn't a good fit on the roster and was traded to the Detroit Pistons earlier this season.

Currently, Kevon Looney is the only true center on the roster, and no one is taller than 6' 9".

They were solid rebounding the basketball this year, finishing tenth (52.1 RPG) out of the 30 teams in the league.

However, no one on the team averages double-digit rebounds, and they have been outrebounded 91-82 in Games 1 and 2 of their first-round playoff series against the Sacramento Kings.

In addition, their lack of size has been evident in the fact that they ranked 25th in blocks per game (4.0) during the regular season.

The Kings currently lead the series 2-0, and Game 3 will be played on Thursday night at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

For the game, Draymond Green has been suspended, and he is the team's second-leading rebounder (7.2 RPG), which could expose their size issue even more.

The Warriors have been one of the best dynasties in NBA history, so they are typically a step ahead of the competition.

There is still an excellent chance they can make a deep run in the 2023 postseason, but size is something they will have to address this summer, regardless of how the playoffs turn out.
