Minnesota Timberwolves Starter Ruled Out Against Raptors

On Wednesday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will host the Toronto Raptors at the Target Center.

For the game, they will be without one of their best players, as starting point guard Mike Conley has been ruled out due to rest.

Via Alan Horton: "Wolves list Mike Conley (rest) as OUT tonight vs. Raptors."

Conley is in his second season playing for the Timberwolves and is averaging 11.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 45.7% from the field and 43.8% from the three-point range in 70 games.

The Timberwolves are currently the second seed in the Western Conference with a 52-23 record in 75 games.

They have gone 8-2 over their last ten games and most recently defeated the Houston Rockets (at home) by a score of 113-106.

Conley had 14 points, two rebounds, six assists and three steals while shooting 4/7 from the field and 3/4 from the three-point range in 30 mintues of playing time.

Following the Raptors, the Timberwolves will play their next game on Friday evening when they visit Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns in Arizona.

As for the Raptors, they have had a tough season and are the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 23-52 record in 75 games.

They are currently in the middle of a 14-game losing streak.

Following their matchup with the Timberwolves, the Raptors will play their next game on Friday evening when they visit Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks in Wisconsin.
