BREAKING: Tyler Herro's Final Injury Status For Heat-Rockets Game
On Friday evening, the Miami Heat will be in Texas for a showdown with the Houston Rockets.
For the game, the Heat will get one of their best players back in action, as Tyler Herro has been upgraded to available.
Via Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald: "Tyler Herro is available tonight after missing the last 20 games."
Chiang also reported that the former Kentucky star will come off the bench.
Via Chiang: "Herro will play off the bench in his first game back."
Herro is averaging 20.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.4 assists per contest while shooting 43.7% from the field and 39.9% from the three-point range in 36 games.
The Heat enter the evening as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 42-34 record in 76 games.
They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Philadelphia 76ers (in Miami) by a score of 109-105.
Following their showdown with the Rockets, the Heat will play their next game on Sunday evening when they visit Pascal Siakam and the Indiana Pacers.
As for the Rockets, they are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 38-38 record in 76 games.
They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a three-game losing streak.
Most recently, the Rockets lost to the Golden State Warriors (at home) by a score of 133-110.
Following Miami, they will visit Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday afternoon.
