On Friday evening, the San Antonio Spurs are hosting the Portland Trail Blazers in Texas. 

During the game, Victor Wembanyama had an exciting highlight that got a lot of attention on social media.  

Cedi Osman led a fast break and threw a lob to Wembanyama, who finished off the play with a dunk (plus the foul). 

Wembanyama is off to an incredible start to his rookie season, and came into the evening with averages of 20.4 points, 10.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.1 steals and 3.2 blocks per contest while shooting 46.5% from the field and 29.4% from the three-point range in 38 games.   

He has also scored 24+ points in each of his previous six games while playing 28 minutes or less.  

The Spurs are in rebuilding mode, so they haven't had a good start to the year. 

They are the 15th seed (last place) in the Western Conference with an 8-36 record in 44 games. 

In addition, the Spurs are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and are 3-7 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, they lost to Chet Holmgren and the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 140-114. 

Wembanyama had 24 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, one steal and four blocks while shooting 9/18 from the field in 28 minutes of playing time. 

As for the Trail Blazers, they are the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 13-31 record in their first 44 games. 

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games.
