Victor Wembanyama's Block Went Viral In Spurs-Nuggets Game

On Tuesday evening, the San Antonio Spurs and Denver Nuggets played a thrilling game in Colorado.

The game was close, but the Nuggets were able to win by a score of 110-105.

Late in the game, star rookie Victor Wembanyama had an exciting sequence.

First, he scored a basket over Aaron Gordon to tie the game, and then he had a massive block on Reggie Jackson.

Via The NBA: "WEMBY TIES THE GAME AND THEN DENIES THE SHOT ON THE OTHER END."

Wembanyama finished the night with 23 points, 15 rebounds, eight assists, one steal and nine blocks while shooting 9/29 from the field and 2/11 from the three-point range in 34 minutes of playing time.

He has had an excellent second half of the season, which could lead to him winning the 2024 Rookie of The Year Award.

Through 67 games, Wembanyama is averaging 21.2 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 3.5 blocks per contest while shooting 46.4% from the field and 31.9% from the three-point range.

The Spurs are 18-58 in 76 games, which has them as the 15th seed (last place) in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak.

Following Denver, the Spurs will play their next game on Friday evening when they visit the New Orleans Pelicans.

As for the Nuggets, they are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 53-23 record in 76 games.

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and will visit the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday evening.
