On Sunday afternoon, the San Antonio Spurs are hosting the New Orleans Pelicans in Texas.  

During the first half, Victor Wembanyama had a big dunk that is getting a lot of attention on social media

Brandon Ingram was guarding Wembanyama, and he spun free to get open.

Devin Vassell lobbed him the ball, and he finished the play with a slam dunk.

Wembanyama continues to make exciting plays and came into the day with averages of 19.0 points, 10.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.9 blocks per contest while shooting 43.5% from the field and 27.8% from the three-point range in 23 games.

The Spurs have struggled this season but are coming off a 129-115 victory over LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday at home.  

They snapped an 18-game losing streak and are now 4-20 in their first 24 games, which has them as the 15th seed in the Western Conference.

In 31 minutes of playing time, Wembanyama had 13 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks while shooting 5/13 from the field and 1/2 from the three-point range.

Following the matchup with the Pelicans, the Spurs will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks in Wisconsin. 

As for the Pelicans, they are 15-11 in their first 26 games, which has them as the ninth seed in the Western Conference. 

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game winning streak.
