On Sunday evening, the San Antonio Spurs are playnig the Philadelphia 76ers (at home) in Texas.

During the first half, star rookie Victor Wembanyama had a huge dunk that got a lot of views on social media.

Via The NBA: "Wemby drives middle and throws it down with the LEFT!"

He got off to a solid start to the game with eight points, six rebounds and two blocks while shooting 3/8 from the field in his first 11 minutes of playing time.

Wembanyama is already among the most exciting players in the league and has a big highlight nearly every night.

He came into the matchup with fantastic averages of 21.1 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 3.5 blocks per contest while shooting 46.3% from the field and 32.2% from the three-point range in 68 games.

That said, the Spurs are in rebuilding mode, so they have been among the worst teams in the NBA and will not make the NBA playoffs (or the play-in tournament).

Currently, they are the 15th seed in the Western Conference with a 19-58 record in 77 games.

The Spurs have gone 5-5 over their last ten games.

Following the 76ers, they will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies.

As for the 76ers, they are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 43-35 record in 78 games.

They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a four-game winning streak.
