Victor Wembanyama's Full-Court Pass Is Going Viral In Spurs-Pistons Game
On Wednesday evening, the San Antonio Spurs are in Michigan, facing off against the Detroit Pistons.
During the first half, Victor Wembanyama made a full-court pass that went viral on social media.
The 20-year-old grabbed the rebound and immediately threw the ball like a quarterback to Jeremy Sochan, who finished off the highlight with a layup.
Wembanyama entered the evening with averages of 19.3 points, 10.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 3.3 blocks per contest while shooting 44.9% from the field and 29.5% from the three-point range in 31 games.
That said, the Spurs are among the worst teams in the league, with a 5-30 record in their first 35 games.
They are 1-9 over their last ten games and in the middle of a five-game losing streak.
Most recently, the Spurs lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 117-115.
In 25 minutes of playing time, Wembanyama had 24 points, ten rebounds, three assists, one steal and five blocks while shooting 6/13 from the field and 2/5 from the three-point range.
Following the Pistons, the Spurs will host the Charlotte Hornets on Friday evening in San Antonio.
As for the Pistons, they are the 15th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 3-34 record in their first 37 games.
They are 1-9 over their last ten games and in the middle of a five-game losing streak.
Most recently, the Pistons lost to the Sacramento Kings by a score of 131-110.
Following the Spurs, they will host the Houston Rockets on Friday.
