Victor Wembanyama had another good game and finished his night with 18 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block while shooting 7/13 from the field and 3/5 from the three-point range in 28 minutes of playing time.

After the game, a reporter asked Wembanyama about not being named to the 2024 NBA All-Star Game.

Reporter: "Were you upset or bothered to not be selected to the All-Star Game, or do you use it for motivation for next year?"

Wembanyama: "Of course, being selected as an All-Star would have been a great achievement, especially in my rookie year. But honestly, my focus is more on trying to win games and get better as a team than this. But of course, it's motivation."

Wembanyama is averaging 20.4 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 3.1 blocks per contest while shooting 46.4% from the field and 30.8% from the three-point range in 45 games.

That said, the Spurs are in rebuilding mode and are the 15th seed in the Western Conference with a 10-41 record in their first 51 games.

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a five-game losing streak.

Following the Heat, the Spurs will remain in Florida and visit Paolo Banchero and the Orlando Magic on Thursday evening.
