BREAKING: Victor Wembanyama's Injury Status In Knicks-Spurs Game

On Friday evening, the San Antonio Spurs are playing the New York Knicks (at home) in Texas.
During the first quarter, star rookie Victor Wembanyama went to the locker room with an injury.
He has two points and four rebounds while shooting 1/3 from the field in six minutes of playing time.
There has been announcement from the Spurs on his status for the remainder of the night.

Wembanyama came into the evening with averages of 20.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 3.5 blocks per contest while shooting 46.6% from the field and 32.0% from the three-point range in 64 games.
He will have an excellent chance to win the 2024 Rookie of The Year Award.
Despite Wembanyama's success, the Spurs are a team that is in rebuilding mode and came into the evening with a 17-56 record in 73 games.
They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak.
Following New York, the Spurs will play their next game on Sunday evening when they host Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors.
As for the Knicks, they are the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 44-28 record in 72 games.
They have gone 8-2 over their last ten games.
