Victor Wembanyama Made NBA History In 76ers-Spurs Game

On Sunday evening, the San Antonio Spurs hosted the Philadelphia 76ers in Texas.

The game was a thriller, and the 76ers won by a score of 133-126 (in overtime).

Despite the loss, star rookie Victor Wembanyama had another big game with 33 points, 18 rebounds, six assists and seven blocks while shooting 11/20 from the field and 5/10 from the three-point range in 43 minutes of playing time.

He also made NBA history.

Wembanyama has had a fantastic season with averages of 21.3 points, 10.7 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 3.6 blocks per contest while shooting 46.5% from the field and 32.6% from the three-point range in 69 games.

That said, the Spurs are in rebuilding mode and are 19-59 in 78 games, which has them as the 15th seed in the Western Conference.

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and are 10-29 in 39 games played on their home floor in San Antonio.

As for the 76ers, they improved to 44-35 in 79 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference.

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a five-game winning streak.
