On Sunday evening, the San Antonio Spurs hosted the Indiana Pacers in Texas. 

The Spurs won the game by a score of 117-105, and star rookie Victor Wembanyama led the way with 31 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, one steal and six blocks while shooting 11/17 from the field and 3/4 from the three-point range in 31 minutes of playing time.

During the game, Wembanyama had a poster dunk that got a lot of views on social media. 

He drove straight to the basket and threw down the dunk as Jalen Smith attempted to defend the rim. 

Wembanyama is averaging 20.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.3 steals and 3.4 blocks per contest while shooting 47.0% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range in 55 games. 

With the victory, the Spurs improved to 13-48 in 61 games, which has them as the 15th seed in the Western Conference. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 7-21 in the 28 games they have played at home in San Antonio. 

Following the Pacers, the Spurs will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they visit the Houston Rockets. 

As for the Pacers, they dropped to 34-28 in 62 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and are 14-16 in 30 games on the road. 

Following the Spurs, the Pacers will visit Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday evening.
