Video Of Udonis Haslem Going Viral From Hawks-Heat Game
On Tuesday evening, the Miami Heat are hosting the Atlanta Hawks for their play-in tournament game in Miami, Florida.
The Heat got off to a rough start during the first half, and three-time NBA Champion Udonis Haslem was seen in a timeout trying to fire up the team.
The veteran forward is in his final year and will retire at the end of the 2022-23 season.
Despite the fact he no longer has a role on the floor, he has a significant job as the leader of the locker room.
Haslem has played 20 seasons in the NBA (all with the Heat) and is one of the most significant members of the organization.
The Heat have been to the NBA Playoffs in each of the last three seasons and made the Eastern Conference Finals in two of those seasons.
They have had an up-and-down year but were able to finish as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 44-38 record.
They are an outstanding 27-14 in the 41 games they have hosted on their home floor in Miami, Florida.
The winner of Tuesday's game will be the seventh seed and face off with the Boston Celtics in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
Meanwhile, the loser will host either the Chicago Bulls or Toronto Raptors in the final play-in tournament game for a chance at the eighth seed.
The Heat have played well to start the second half and have gotten the game back down to a single-digit deficit.
