Warriors Injury Report Against The Lakers
On Friday evening, the Golden State Warriors will be in Los Angeles to face off against the Lakers.
For the game, Anthony Slater of The Athletic has shared their injury report.
Via Slater: "Jonathan Kuminga questionable, Draymond Green out tonight vs Lakers. All other main Warriors expected to play in LA. Steve Kerr said he will edge up the starter’s minutes from the preseason opener."
In addition to Green being out, C.J. Holmes of the San Francisco Chronicle reported that the team will be without Cory Joseph and Rodney McGruder.
Via Holmes: "Jonathan Kuminga (thumb) is questionable for Friday's game against the Lakers in Los Angeles. Steve Kerr said his status will be determined after shootaround.
Cory Joseph (back) and Rodney McGruder (concussion) will not play."
The Warriors played their first preseason game against the Lakers, winning 125-108 on October 7.
Kuminga led the way with 24 points and eight rebounds.
This past year, the Warriors were the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 44-38 record.
They beat the Sacramento Kings in the first round of the NBA playoffs but lost to the Lakers in the second round (in six games).
On October 24, the Warriors will play their first game of the regular season against the Phoenix Suns (at home in San Francisco).
Meanwhile, the Lakers are coming off a season where they got swept in the Western Conference finals by the Denver Nuggets.
