The 2022-23 NBA season is winding down, as there is just one month left in the regular season. 

One of the most exciting things for basketball fans to watch is the exciting dunks that happen on a nightly basis. 

The NBA's All-Star Weekend features a highly anticipated dunk contest every season, and last month Mac McClung won the competition.

On Friday, StatMuse revealed who leads the NBA in dunks this season. 

Leaders In Dunks For The 2022-23 Season (Via StatMuse): 

  1. Evan Mobley (Cleveland Cavaliers): The former USC star leads the entire NBA with 173 dunks. He is in his second season and is averaging 16.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.4 blocks per contest in 66 games (while shooting 55.1% from the field). 
  2.  Jarrett Allen (Cleveland Cavaliers): Allen was a 2022 NBA All-Star and has 163 dunks. This season, the former Texas star is averaging 14.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 blocks per contest in 61 games (while shooting 65.1% from the field). 
  3. Rudy Gobert (Minnesota Timberwolves): The three-time NBA All-Star is in his first season with the Timberwolves and has 159 dunks. He is currently averaging 13.5 points, 11.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per contest in 55 games (while shooting 67.0% from the field).  
  4. Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks): The two-time MVP is arguably the best player in the world and has 158 dunks. He is averaging an incredible 31.2 points, 11.9 rebounds and 5.5 assists per contest in 52 games (while shooting 53.9% from the field).
