Zion Williamson's Alley-Oop Dunk Went Viral In Pelicans-Nets Game
On Tuesday evening, the New Orleans Pelicans faced off against the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center in New York.
The Pelicans won by a score of 104-91, and two-time NBA All-Star Zion Williamson led the way with 28 points, seven rebounds and four assists while shooting 11/16 from the field in 33 minutes of playing time.
During the game, Williamson had a huge highlight that went viral on social media.
Naji Marshall stole the ball and threw a lob to Williamson, who finished off the alley-oop with a dunk.
Marshall finished the game with four points, five rebounds, three assists and four steals while shooting 2/4 from the field in 19 minutes of playing time.
With the victory, the Pelicans improved to 42-26 in 68 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Western Conference.
They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and are 22-13 in the 35 games they have played on the road away from New Orleans.
Following the Nets, the Pelicans will play their next game on Thursday evening when they visit Paolo Banchero and the Orlando Magic in Florida.
As for the Nets, they dropped to 26-43 in 69 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are in the middle of a four-game losing streak and are 16-19 in the 35 games they have hosted at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Following the Pelicans, the Nets will play their next game on Thursday evening when they visit Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks in Wisconsin.
