On Sunday evening, the Phoenix Suns hosted the New Orleans Pelicans in Arizona.
The game was close, but the Pelicans won by a score of 113-105.
Two-time NBA All-Star Zion Williamson had a fantastic game with 29 points, ten rebounds, seven assists, one steal and five blocks while shooting 11/21 from the field in 40 minutes of playing time.
He also had a huge block on 2014 MVP Kevin Durant that got a lot of views on social media.
The former Duke superstar is in the middle of an impressive season with averages of 22.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 58.0% from the field and 35.7% from the three-point range in 66 games.
With the victory, the Pelicans improved to 46-32 in 78 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Western Conference.
They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and are 25-14 in the 39 games they have played on the road away from New Orleans.
Following the Suns, the Pelicans will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they visit the Portland Trail Blazers in Oregon.
As for the Suns, they dropped to 46-32 in 78 games, which has them as the sixth seed in the Western Conference.
They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and are 25-15 in 40 games at home.
Following their loss to New Orleans, the Suns will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they host the Los Angeles Clippers.
