This past weekend's NHRA Nevada Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway had lots of great excitement.

Unfortunately, some of that excitement wasn't so great, as several drivers were involved in wrecks.

But on the fortunate side, for the drivers involved, as the old drag racing TV series used to say, "And they (all) walked away," thankfully sustaining no injuries.

Here's some of the more notable wrecks, courtesy of either NHRA or Fox Sports:

Things started off inupside-down fashion when Pro Mod driver Kris Thorne went topsy-turvy during Saturday's eliminations:

Next up, during Sunday's eliminations, it wasn't bad enough that Funny Car driver Tim Wilkerson not only lost to Alexis DeJoria, he also had one of the most spectacular engine detonations in quite some time, destroying the body on his car:

And then there was Top Fuel driver Clay Millican, who went from a four-wheeler to a three-wheel trike of sorts when the left rear tire on his dragster went kablooey!
