The F1 world has been going crazy over the poorly-fitted ramp race-winner Max Verstappen had to drive up after the Bahrain Grand Prix and fans have now revealed another angle showing it narrowly missing someone as it flew out from under the car.

The bizarre moment came as part of the post-race spectacle. Verstappen parked his Red Bull RB19 on a gold podium and to get onto the podium was a loosely-fitted ramp. As the Belgian-Dutch driver slowly drove up the ramp, it flew out from underneath the car and fired backwards.

Fans have been calling out the FIA and event holders for the dangerous moment, and now further footage has been released showing it happen from another angle. Viewers can see the ramp shooting out and almost hitting a man who gets out of the way just in time.

On top of the concern for the people surrounding the podium, the ramp could have caused damage to the floor of Verstappen's RB19 as well as his teammate Sergio Perez's car as it flew into it.

Twitter users reacted to the moment, one commented:

"That dude is so lucky, holy s**t"

"That could have been very serious. It’s ridiculous the way the ramp was set up. I’m sure whoever was responsible got an earful."

Someone else picked up on the potential damage to Perez's car, writing:

"Floor damage to checo lmao" [sic]

There have been no official statements about the odd situation at the moment.

The next important F1 date is the 17-19 March for the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix.
