According to an FIA report ahead of the race today. Red Bull Racing has made modifications to the oil intake pipe of both their cars prior to the Bahrain Grand Prix due to concerns about the reliability of the RB19. This comes after a successful Qualifying session where Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez took the front row.

The report from the FIA document reveals that the combustion engine oil intake pipe of both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez's cars were replaced after the qualifying session had ended. They won't receive any penalty because it is to improve the reliability of the engine, not the performance. Since the engine freeze, changes like this are allowed.

It is worth noting that Charles Leclerc has also received a modification to his Ferrari engine before the race. According to another FIA document, the Monogasque driver has been given a new energy store and a new control electronics component. Like the Red Bull drivers, this modification was also carried out within the rules, and Leclerc will not receive any penalty. However, each driver is only allowed only two energy stores for the entire season.
