F1 fans missed seeing Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo on the grid during the 2023 season-opening race in Bahrain, and he has now taken to social media to show everyone what they're missing in an insane new video.

Ricciardo and McLaren parted ways at the end of 2022. After the British teams announcement, all eyes were on the eight-time grand prix winner to secure another permanent seat for the 2023 season. However, Ricciardo has taken a reserve driver contract with Red Bull to have a year out of the hot seat.

The Australian driver is one of the biggest personalities in the sport which is partly why he very quickly became a fan-favourite on Netflix's Drive to Survive

It's not just fans who are missing Ricciardo as Sky Sports pundit Ted Kravitz has also said that the grid is missing his aura.

Taking to social media, Ricciardo posted:

"My friend taught me how to minimise tyre deg"

He shared a video of him and a friend going off-roading in a Polaris. They tear up the off-road track and get a massive amount of air as they tear over a jump. Fans were quick to comment on the hilarious video.

"Bro is living"

"Ferrari is taking notes, tyres that don’t touch, don’t deg!"

"Everyone knew Ric could still fly just that McLaren was holding him down"

"See this is what happens when you don’t have to care if you break your neck or not"

"Hahahahha THIS IS EPIC"

"I don't want you to drive in this thing I want you drive in a racing car"

"Having fun but please come back next year, we miss you!"
