F1 fans were in shock as Daniel Ricciardo appeared on the Met Gala red carpet.

F1 fans were shocked to see eight-time grand prix winner Daniel Ricciardo taking to the Met Gala red carpet last night. 

Ricciardo was at one of the most prestigious events in the fashion calendar and fans were quick to pick him out from the crowds.

The Australian driver has previously commented on the event when seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton went back in 2021. He said at the time that the event wouldn't really be for him:

"After seeing some of the images, not really. Look, I mean, the way some of the fashion is now, I think you probably could get away with that.

"Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it would be an experience, but I don't know. It seems a little formal for me."

F1 racing continues this coming weekend for the Miami Grand Prix. As Red Bull's third driver, it is unknown whether Ricciardo will be at the track. However, everyone will be hoping to see him make an appearance.
