F1 fans have taken to social media to give their thoughts on the fifth season of Drive To Survive which was released on Netflix at the end of last week, and they are confused that the production team did not include anything from the 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix.

A lot happened at the Brazilian Grand Prix. First of all, Kevin Magnussen bagged his first pole position, as well as the first pole position for the Haas team, for the sprint race on the Saturday.

On top of this, George Russell achieved his first career F1 win with teammate Lewis Hamilton coming in second, a huge moment for the Mercedes team after struggling throughout the whole season with the troublesome W13 cars.

And lastly, which is many fans suspicion of why the event wasn't included in the show, was the controversial and dramatic end for the Red Bull team. Fans are unlikely to forget the moment when Max Verstappen refused to follow team orders to let his teammate Sergio Perez through on the last lap of the race. Verstappen had already won the drivers' championship at this point and Perez was battling it out for second with Charles Leclerc.

Perez had already let Verstappen past on his newer tyres to try and take some points from Fernando Alonso and Leclerc, however, was instructed he would need to give this place back before the end of the race, but the Belgian-Dutch driver refused to do that.

F1 pundit, Matt Gallagher, wrote to Twitter:

"I’m honestly so confused as to why Drive to Survive didn’t cover Brazil 2022 AT ALL.

"Brazil is almost ALWAYS a certified banger Netflix HAVE to go to this race!!!!!"

Another Twitter user commented:

"Think it could be something to do with how badly Max comes across not helping out Perez…he only agreed to return to DTS if he could have some say on how he’s portrayed…"

Someone else wrote:

"Bro they didn’t even cover Haas and Kmag getting a pole …. When haas is like always a focus"
