After a wet Free Practice Three earlier today the rain managed to hold off for the beginning of Qualifying, however, with the track still drying up the drivers headed out on intermediate tyres.
Max Verstappen could be heard of the team radio complaining of no grip whilst explaining he was "spinning everywhere".
The track was evolving dramatically throughout Q1 as it began to dry up with the driver taking the top spot changing constantly.

The rain held off during Q2 meaning the drivers were able to have a fairly clean session.
Lewis Hamilton struggled to get in the necessary time and found himself shockingly eliminated. On a more positive note though, rookie Logan Sargeant got through to Q3 for the first time this season.
Out in Q2
- Lance Stroll
- Pierre Gasly
- Lewis Hamilton
- Yuki Tsunoda
- Nico Hulkenberg
After getting into Q3 for the first time in his career, Sargeant crashed into the race wall at Turn 2 and put a red flag on the session with just over eight minutes to go. Thankfully, the American driver was able to walk away from the impact. At this stage he has the second fastest time on the board so it will become interesting if rain starts to fall again.
Q3 resumed after a short wait for the race barrier to be repaired with the sun shining over the track. Shortly after, Charles Leclerc found himself off the track and in the race wall ending his session and putting yet another red flag on the session.
