Esteban Ocon Debuts Insane New $312k Car Ahead Of Haas F1 Move

Esteban Ocon marks his transition to the Haas F1 Team with the purchase of a Ferrari 296 GTB.

Esteban Ocon is preparing for his debut with the Haas F1 team in 2025 after making a move away from Alpine. To mark the career move, Ocon has treated himself to a luxurious new ride, the Ferrari 296 GTB, valued at an impressive $312,000.

The French driver began his Formula 1 career in 2016 with Manor Racing and steadily progressed through the ranks, eventually joining Alpine where he carved out a reputation for himself as a formidable driver. His only win so far came at the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix where he secured a memorable victory.

Ocon's transition to Haas comes at a promising time for the team, which has been striving to improve its performance and competitiveness since its inception in 2016. He is set to bring a wealth of experience to the team, as he will be paired with rookie racer Oliver Bearman.

The Ferrari 296 GTB is turning heads was crafted in the iconic Rosso Fiorano color and features the Assetto Fiorano package, a track-focused variant designed to optimize the car's performance. This impressive machine boasts a 3-liter twin-turbo V6 engine generating 650bhp, complemented by a 123kW electric motor, culminating in a total output of 819bhp. The 296 GTB accelerates from 0-62mph in a mere 2.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 205mph.
