Haas have been the first to release the livery of their 2023 VF-23 today in a social media post and press release. Fans have been very quick to share their thoughts on the new look for the team.

The VF-23 features a black base with red and white accents and the Haas logo can be seen on the rear wing with the MoneyGram logo on the front wing and side of the air intake.

One fan commented:

"Looks very good! I love how you've kept it fairly simplistic with only white, red and black."

Another fan wrote that they were looking forward to seeing the real thing in person. The first time we will see the 2023 cars will be at the pre-season testing in Bahrain from 23-25 February. They wrote:

"I cannot WAIT to see what this looks like on track! Absolutely incredible!"

Overall, fans seemed to prefer the black base to last years almost all white design. However, one fan disagreed saying that "they made this livery thinking about weight reduction". They wrote:

"There's too much black for my taste, I think they made this livery thinking about weight reduction, it's easier to save when half the car is already black."

Another fan picked up on the detail in the mirrored MoneyGram logos on the side of the air intake as you look at them from above. They commented:

"Ohh that’s a fine detail"

Someone else responded:

"Great looking car guys, glad to see more sponsors coming in. Good luck this year"

Another fan noticed the red accents on the wheel trims, they commented:

"I like it, & think the black will be handy to keep raw carbon and reduce the weight not having to paint it. I wonder if that will be a theme across the cars this year? Love the splash of colour on the wheel trims, much underused in 2022 I thought."

The next important F1 date is February 3 for the release of the Red Bull RB19 at an event in New York City.
