F1 fans have been reliving the heart-warming moment Lewis Hamilton was gifted one of Ayrton Senna's race helmets by his family when the British driver met one of the Brazilian driver's records.
The moment has been shared by ESPN to Twitter with the caption:
"When Lewis Hamilton received a race-worn Ayrton Senna helmet as a gift from the family after equaling his hero's number of pole positions."
Growing up, Ayrton Senna was Hamilton's hero so it is not surprising that the Mercedes driver becomes overwhelmed when he is given the helmet, instantly dropping his water to the floor and being lost for words.Β
