F1 Fans Slam Sergio Perez - "It's Disgusting"
F1 fans have been hitting out at Red Bull driver Sergio Perez for crashing into Yuki Tsunoda at the race start of the Singapore Grand Prix. The damage sustained from the collision caused the Japanese driver to retire from the race on the second lap.
Tsunoda reported to the AlphaTauri team that he had suffered from a puncture before he stopped the car off the track. Luckily, for the rest of the grid, he was able to get the car behind the race barrier so a safety car or red flag was not needed.

However, what has shocked fans is that Perez was not investigated by the Stewards by the move. On-board footage has been released to social media and fans have been taking the opportunity to hit out at the Mexican driver for the "disgusting" move.
"Perez taking Yuki out of the race but no investigation or even it being shown on Sky F1 coverage… red bull running the FIA and the media…"
Another fan responded to say that it is because "AlphaTauri aren't allowed to raise disputes with Red Bull", which was branded as "disgusting".
Someone else posted that Lewis Hamilton had received a penalty for a similar move at the Belgian Grand Prix, they wrote:
"Lewis got penalized at Spa for far less contact. Red Bull follow a different set of rules."
Another fan pointed out that it isn't down to Sky F1 what is broadcast during the race. They wrote:
"Race footage is directed, produced and transmitted by F1 on a global feed to all broadcasters. It’s not sky, they just comment on what they see. Pre and post race sky do their own thing."
