When there's drama surrounding any form of sport, it automatically gains more popularity. Especially, if the drama is an action-packed scripted TV series starring personalities like Felicity Jones from the Star Wars movie Rogue One.

'One' is going to be Formula 1 's officially sanctioned first scripted TV series. The organization will be on board Bedrock Entertainment's team as a producer.

One's storyline is such that it could appeal to almost anyone, including fans who are new to the world of Formula 1. According to the Hollywood news site Deadline:

"One will focus on the tumultuous ascension of a fictitious family-owned Formula 1 team as it contends with fierce personalities, ever-changing rivals, and multi-million-dollar stakes. It will blend fiction with the real-world of F1, which has 23 races scheduled for the 2023 season."

Felicity Jones revealed that she was honored to be a part of this partnership with Formula 1.

“It is an honour to be part of this unique and exciting partnership with Formula 1. The high stakes world of F1 continually delivers edge-of-your-seat drama and to have the opportunity to create a show based in this world is a thrilling prospect. I feel incredibly privileged to be working alongside this talented team including Mark and Hawk, Tony and the team at Bedrock Entertainment, and the whole team at F1 to bring our story to the screen.”

Formula 1 has been utilizing multiple platforms to make the sport available to all. There's another movie in the works currently by Apple Studio, produced by Lewis Hamilton, Brad Pitt, and the man behind the movie Top Gun: Maverick- Joseph Kosinski. Sounds exciting already!

ESPN on the other hand has teamed up with Daniel Ricciardo and Will Arnett to provide alternate coverage of three Formula 1 races in 2023 on ESPN2. A partnership aimed to help fans enjoy the sport even more and inform new fans about Formula 1.

Talking about 'One', F1’s new head of digital content Isabelle Stewart says:

“One” will “aim to bring the glamorous, high-pressure and competitive inner workings of the world of Formula 1 to life for audiences across the globe”.
