Friday: Free Practice 1 & 2

On the opening day of the Grand Prix, the atmosphere is relatively mild. The temperature for the first free practice (FP1) hovers around 26°C. As the day unfolds, a slight increase in warmth is expected, reaching 29°C for the second practice session (FP2). This milder weather offers an optimal environment for teams to refine their strategies and vehicle configurations.

Although light westerly winds, reaching a maximum of eight miles per hour, are forecasted, they are not expected to significantly affect the track dynamics.

Saturday: Free Practice 3 & Qualifying

The narrative takes an interesting turn on Saturday. During the last practice session (FP3), the circuit is set to be bathed in sunlight with temperatures around 28°C. Intriguingly, there’s a small chance of rain, estimated at 10%, introducing an element of slight uncertainty into the mix.

The qualifying round, expected to be cooler at 26°C, is crucial in determining the lineup for the grand race on Sunday.

Sunday: The Grand Prix

Sunday's race is set to be the apex of the weekend in terms of heat, with mercury levels predicted to soar up to 31°C. This spike in temperature places a significant emphasis on the management of tyres, a critical component of race strategy. The teams and their drivers face the challenge of striking a delicate balance between maintaining speed and ensuring the durability of their tyres under these demanding conditions.
