AlphaTauri are due to reveal their 2023 car, the AT04, during an event in New York City tomorrow. Ahead of this, the team have released a sneak peek of the new design for the wheel plates.

Taking to Twitter, the team posted the teaser photo.

Many fans have been calling for more teams to expand their livery designs onto the wheel plates after the majority didn't in the 2022 season, apart from McLaren who had the Google Chrome design.

Fans seem excited for the launch tomorrow, although there are some sharing that they think it will be like Red Bull's launch last week where fans waited 45-50 minutes for them to reveal the RB19 which has the same design as last year. One fan commented:

"If the wheel is like this, I cannot imagin how the AT04 will look like" [sic]

Someone else commented:

"I think the AT04 is gonna look exactly the same as last year..."

There was also a lot os speculation over the red accents in the design. The teams 2022 livery was white and navy blue. However, with the introduction of their new principal sponsor Orlen, who were previously Alfa Romeo's title sponsor, many think it might be to incorporate them into the design. One Twitter user wrote:

"Red for Orlen probably?"

The team will be launching the AT04 during New York Fashion week tomorrow, as well as their Autumn Winter 2023 AlphaTauri collection. The team made the announcement to Twitter, writing:

"Coming to America! AT04 livery & AlphaTauri AW23 reveal at New York Fashion Week February 11th, 17.30 EST (23:30 CET)"

The 2023 season will start with the Bahrain Grand Prix on 3-5 March with the pre-season testing the week beforehand. The rest of February is busy with the remaining team livery launches and the release of Netflix's Drive to Survive season 5.
