However, not all went according to plan for Red Bull. Sergio Perez faced multiple challenges, to which Horner commented:

"He [Perez] went for a few front wings today. I mean, from the very start, he got knocked around a bit and then obviously picked up a penalty and obviously the move on Kevin Magnussen. It wasn't his day. But he'll bounce back at the next race and you know, he's a big part of the success as well."

Speaking of partnerships, Horner lauded their collaboration with Honda, noting:

"It's been a great partner for us and it's very fitting to win this championship here with Honda in front of all the fans here and the support we've had. The whole weekend has just been phenomenal."
