Red Bull has given Daniel Ricciardo his wings as he is all set to get back into the cockpit of the RB19 F1 car. Previously, Ricciardo raced for Red Bull between 2014 and 2018 that saw him win seven races.

During the years 2021 and 2022, he raced with McLaren but a contract termination saw him pause his F1 journey the eventually paved way for him to return to Red Bull as a reserve driver.

The 34-year-old racing driver will be required to take the wheel of the RB19 Formula 1 car for three days at Silverstone for Pirelli's tire testing session. Apart from that, Ricciardo's contract also requires him to take part in Red Bull's promotional campaigns which brings him to participate in the 'Baton Of Hope UK.'

The Baton Of Hope is a symbol of suicide prevention and awareness that has been on a tour around the UK. Ricciardo welcomed the initiative to a new city as he headed the parade in a Red Bull RB19 F1 car through the Red Bull base with the baton held up in his hand.

Meanwhile, the bosses at Red Bull are assessing a place for Ricciardo in the team as he looks forward to his return to Formula 1 as a racing driver in 2024. Chrisitan Horner said that Ricciardo has “rediscovered his mojo” since his return to Red Bull.

However, the team is keen on assessing his performance at Silverstone. According to Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko, the test ahead of the British GP will help the team "evaluate where he really stands."

Ricciardo had announced earlier that Red Bull would be an ideal team for him to retire from. Red Bull driver Sergio Perez on the other hand has a lot to prove in an otherwise dominant car like the RB19. His performance is also something that the team has been concerned about.

Could we see Ricciardo in place of Perez in 2024?
