Ocon is the second driver to retire from the race in Singapore after Yuki Tsunoda was forced to stop on the second lap after suffering from a puncture after contact with Sergio Perez on the race start. Lance Stroll also withdrew from the race this morning due to the extreme damage sustained during his crash in Qualifying yesterday.

Alpine has been struggling recently with Ocon also retiring from the Italian, Hungarian, British, Australian, and Bahrain Grands Prix.
