To expand its reach to the most populous country in the world, Formula 1 has signed a two-year contract with sports streaming platform FanCode to exclusively broadcast Formula 1 in India until the end of the 2025 season.

There is a rising interest in Formula 1 among youngsters in India. Approximately 60 million fans are actively engaged with the sport, with half of them joining the F1 community within the last four years. 

Through this collaboration, Formula 1 gains access to a swiftly growing fanbase and extends an invitation to FanCode’s extensive audience of almost 100 million dedicated sports enthusiasts to explore the realm of F1.

FanCode will use its best-in-class technical capabilities to offer fans a premium viewing experience by allowing them to follow every minute of the record-breaking 24-race season on their phone, tablet, and smart TV, starting with the Bahrain Grand Prix on 2 March 2024.
