F1 News: Lando Norris Crashes Out Of Las Vegas Grand Prix
Lando Norris is out of the Las Vegas Grand Prix after crashing on the fourth lap of the inaugural race.
After a dramatic start to the race Fernando Alonso, Valtteri Bottas, and Carlos Sainz were wrapped up in first-corner contact but all drivers were able to continue with the race. However, this was followed by Norris losing control and oversteering causing him to collide with the race wall. There are suspicions of a suspension failure or puncture, however, this has not been confirmed by the team.
Thankfully, the McLaren driver was quick to inform the team that he was alright and was able to get out of the car shortly after.
Lewis Hamilton, who was running closely behind Norris, reported suspected damage to his front wing after parts of Norris' car flew off and hit his W14.
The race has now been put under safety car conditions whilst the MCL60 is removed from the track and McLaren now relies on Oscar Piastri to bring home points for the team.
