F1 News: Las Vegas Resort Gives Hilarious Nod To Daniel Ricciardo's Most Iconic Moment
Paying tribute to Daniel Ricciardo's 'Shoey' celebration, MGM Resorts is planning to offer its guests a cocktail in a driving shoe from 16th- 18th November during the Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend at the Bellagio.
The Australian driver's popular Shoey move was a sight to behold whenever he made it to the podium. He would pour the champagne into his racing shoe before indulging in a celebratory drink.

Speaking on the Las Vegas GP specialty, MGM Resorts said in a statement:
“At the Shoey Bar, we invite you to tap into that exhilarating feeling of victory, immersing yourself in the very essence of your favorite [sic] sport.
“Slip into our genuine MGM-branded driving shoes, fill them with your beverage of choice, and raise a triumphant toast, just like your racing heroes do on the podium. Experience the rush, savour the glory, and celebrate your passion for racing with us!”
For fans wanting to savor their favorite drink in Ricciardo style, the shoes at the Bellagio will have waterproof beverage lining inside for safety and hygiene reasons. If you thought that the GP mood ends with the shoe option, you might be wrong.
A pop-up Ferrari event offers fans the opportunity to indulge in a four-course menu paired with wines from Hundred Acre wines, all curated by celebrity chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Simultaneously, the Aria Resort and Casino hosts an Alfa Romeo Experience, showcasing the team's car models and racing gear.
The festivities kick off with an opening ceremony on November 16 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Cosmopolitan. A "Cocktail Circuit" will be held from Thursday through Saturday, leading participants to four bars featuring special cocktails. Additionally, six local artists have been commissioned to create custom Formula 1 helmets, which will be exhibited throughout the race weekend.
