Max Verstappen won the Monaco Grand Prix after a chaotic race.

The Dutch driver, who started from pole position, won the race with an impressive 27.921 second lead from Fernando Alonso who crossed the line in second place.

Esteban Ocon crossed the line in third position followed by Lewis Hamilton and George Russell in fourth and fifth place, respectively.

Rain began to fall with about twenty laps to go, bringing drama to the race as the drivers struggled to navigate the tight streets of Monte Carlo. Unfortunately, this was bad news for Lance Stroll who had to retire from the race after damage from contact with the race wall.
