F1 News: McLaren Reveals Stealth Livery For Singapore and Japanese GP

McLaren celebrates its partnership with sponsor OKX through an all-new predominantly black livery.

The McLaren F1 car gets an all-new look for the Singapore and the Japanese Grands Prix to celebrate the relationship with their title sponsor OKX. Describing it as 'stealth mode,' the new livery sports an all-matte black color with orange highlights on the front wing, sidepods, halo, and rear wing.

The Woking outfit has been known to come up with special liveries that offer a refreshing look. The MCL60 F1 car received a 'triple crown livery' for the Monaco Grand Prix this year and for the British Grand Prix, the team sported a 'chrome livery' that marked a throwback to the Lewis Hamilton days when he won his first world title.

McLaren CEO Zak Brown proudly expressed that the stealth livery marks the celebration of the team's partnership with major sponsor OKX. He explained in a press release from the team

“Our partnership with OKX goes from strength to strength, and it’s fantastic to celebrate it with this incredible livery. Stealth Mode flips our race car’s colours, bringing something exciting and different to these two great races in Singapore and Japan.

"We hope fans will love it as much as we do and get a chance to enjoy the fan zone to connect with our team. OKX are a dedicated supporter of McLaren’s journey, and in turn we’re proud to bring our partnership to life on track through the global platform of Formula 1.”

The latest video of the livery from McLaren on social media platform X shows just how well the design team has imbibed the stealth vibe onto the MCL60. The light streaking through the areas where it is predominantly black makes it look no different than a stealth fighter jet, until the rich orange bits are highlighted that blend so well and add a significant pop to the overall look.
