F1 News: Mercedes Unveils Striking W15 Livery Ahead of 2024 Season
Mercedes has unveiled the highly-anticipated W15 at a launch event in Silverstone.
The design, which was shared on social media as well as on the live stream to the Mercedes YouTube channel, features the iconic black design with a striking silver nose with Petronas turquoise outline. Notable features include the silver arrows on the engine cover which carries forward from the W14 as well as the bold red accent with the INEOS logo on the intake.
A common complaint from fans this year has been the staggering amount of bare carbon fibre. However, the Brackley-based squad has continued with the bold black design which seems to be wrapped for the most part.
The 2024 season marks an important stage for Mercedes as it is the last year with seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton ahead of his move to Ferrari in 2025.
