The Miami Grand Prix promoters have introduced the 'Grand Tour Experience', giving fans a unique opportunity to change their seating across the race weekend.

Key Takeaways:

  • The ‘Grand Tour Experience’: Fans attending the Miami Grand Prix will have the privilege to switch between three different grandstands over the race weekend.
  • Seating Choices: The seating options include Turn 1 Grandstand, Marina Grandstands, and the AutoNation Grandstand at Turn 18, each offering distinctive track views.
  • Enhanced Hospitality Experiences: Beyond F1, the Miami Dolphins organisation has transformed F1 garages into premium hospitality areas, and the Paddock Club building is also being used for pre- and post-game hospitality.

The 'Grand Tour Experience' will be featured in the third year of racing around the Hard Rock Stadium, where fans can choose their preferred grandstand for the main Sunday race. Additionally, they have the option to experience varied track views on both Friday and Saturday during the practice and qualifying sessions.

Tom Garfinkel, the managing partner of the Miami GP and the CEO of the Dolphins and the stadium, mentioned:

“I don't think we're the first circuit to do it, but it was an idea to create some opportunities for fans to experience three different grandstands on three different days.”

He also hinted at exciting announcements about the full support series lineup and emphasised wanting to "lay down as much rubber on the track" for more racing action.

A novel change introduced by the Dolphins organisation is the use of F1 garages as 'MIA Garage Tailgate' during the NFL season. Each of these 1,600 square-foot, air-conditioned garages can accommodate up to 50 people, featuring luxury amenities like a grill, bartender, couches with TVs, and even a store for marinated meats.

Garfinkel added, “Tailgating in the United States is a phenomenon... And to be able to do that indoors in an air-conditioned environment, when it's hot out, it's kind of special." He also highlighted the unique experience of the 'VIP tailgate' and the exclusivity provided to season ticket members with a special air-conditioned lounge.
