After the unfortunate cancellation of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix due to severe flooding, the weather seems to be favouring Monaco. The upcoming weekend is set to be blessed with near-perfect conditions for the highly anticipated race, despite the forecasts earlier this week.

Formula 1 is ready to return to action after a three-week break since the Miami Grand Prix. Monaco is known for its favourable weather, as the race takes place during a traditionally sunny time of year for the principality. However, conflicting forecasts have created uncertainty about what lies ahead.

According to the BBC, Friday's weather is expected to be sunny all day, accompanied by a gentle breeze from the southwest. The temperatures will remain consistently pleasant, ranging between 21 and 22 degrees Celsius. This is excellent news for drivers and teams, as there is currently no chance of rain forecasted for Friday.

Moving on to Saturday, the temperatures will remain similar to those of Friday, with no significant changes. However, there is uncertainty regarding whether the track will stay dry. The wind direction will continue to come from the south, but the breezes will be very light. Weather forecasts from weather.com suggest the possibility of showers throughout the afternoon.

As we approach race day on Sunday, updated forecasts indicate an increased chance of rain, as high as 76%. This could potentially recreate the dramatic rain-soaked race from last year. Nonetheless, temperatures are expected to remain favourable, with little fluctuation from the predicted 22 degrees Celsius throughout the weekend.
