"Over the course of six episodes, Senna will, for the first time, depict the journey of overcoming obstacles, ups and downs, joys, and sorrows of Ayrton, exploring his personality and personal relationships,"
Senna finds a place near the top of the list of the greatest F1 drivers in the history of Formula 1. Hence, the mini-series is said to be of high significance not only for his fans but also for the sport and the driver.
Boasting an impressive total of 41 Grand Prix wins, Senna was one of the three Brazilian drivers to win the world championship title. In addition, he also held the record for having the most number of pole positions- 65. However, the record was broken in 2006.
Set for release in 2024, the mini-series on Senna comes after Netflix's successful 'Drive to Survive' series based on Formula 1 that received a tremendous response.
