F1 News: New Host City Announced For Second F1 Exhibition
After a successful inaugural exhibition in Madrid earlier this year, Austria's capital Vienna has been chosen by Formula 1 as the host city for its official exhibition set to take place in 2024.
The show is said to open at METAStadt Vienna on February 2 next year and is expected to run until late Spring. But, if you're thinking what does it have in store for the visitors and F1 fans? Well, to start with, the exhibition puts together a unique interactive audio-visual design to show rare F1 clips and images that have never been released before.

In addition, it would also display iconic F1 artifacts, educational exhibits, and Formula 1 cars from different time periods of the sport's history. One unique highlight would be an entire section dedicated to Romain Grosjean's terrible Bahrain GP crash of 2020.
The addition of a new venue arrives after a successful inaugural run in Madrid that went on to become the country's biggest temporary show for 2023 as per Formula 1. Speaking on the success received in Madrid and the new stop in Vienna as a part of its "European tour," the event's lead curator Timothy Harvey said:
"We were thrilled and gratified by the level of success the exhibition received in Madrid.
"The ambition has always been to bring this one-of-a-kind show to as many people as possible, and so we’re excited to announce the next stop on our European tour will be the dynamic city of Vienna.
"The Vienna exhibition will feature new displays and experiences for visitors.”
F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali also commented on the sport's second upcoming exhibition. He said:
“Following the success of our first Formula 1 Exhibition in Madrid, we are incredibly excited to announce Vienna as the second host of the innovative show.
"Austria has a great history with Formula 1, so we are delighted to take this spectacle to the capital and provide fans in the country with another way of interacting and enjoying the sport’s rich history and heritage.”
