F1 News: Red Bull Share Touching Moment - "Held Me So Tight"
Nearing 20 years since Red Bull bought Jaguar and earned its first points during the 2005 Australian Grand Prix, team principal Christian Horner and Red Bull debut driver David Coulthard recall their first day together on the track and go on to replay the action in a warm moment.
Despite the massive success the team has been witnessing in recent seasons, the story twenty years ago was just the opposite with the team struggling to earn points under the leadership of a rookie team boss.

The duo's first race together was a memorable one and remains freshly etched in their minds as they enact their first hug after the race at Silverstone. Since the double-point finish in that race, the F1 growth graph of Red Bull displayed a rising trend.
Oracle Red Bull Racing has posted a video of the enactment on Instagram where Horner hugs Coulthard in the same way as he hugged him back in the day before they go on to discuss their first race. Of course, the main star of the event- the RB1 F1 car was present to grace the occasion too!
As the two begin to enact the scene, Coulthard said:
“I came, and I was happy with a fourth place, and I remember you gave me a hug. You held me so tight; I thought Christian’s really happy with the fourth place.”
Horner then hugs him tightly again, as if almost carrying him while they both laugh about it.
Horner replied:
“I was just thinking of bonus! I think we were all being paid on points at that point.”
Coulthard laughingly replied:
“I think we all were at that stage!”
