F1 News: Red Bull Warms Hearts As They Console Crying Child In Lovely Moment
Red Bull has warmed hearts after gifting a crying child with VIP passes for the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend.
During the first free practice session this morning, a young fan was captured by the TV coverage crying in his father's arms after Sergio Perez crashed in the first few minutes. The boy seemed distraught by the Mexican driver's misfortune so the Austrian team subsequently worked to try and find the boy to give him VIP access.
Fans have been reacting to the heartwarming moment on social media with photos being circulated. One fan commented:
"Red Bull W, I don't say that often, absolute class from 'em"
"Moments that the kid will cherish for life"
"FP1 - Visibly upset about Perez being out FP2 - Invited as a Red Bull guest and meets his hero"
The crash saw Perez's first free practice session come to an end with damage to the RB19 floor, front wing, and suspension. Thankfully the driver was able to walk away without any injuries and the team managed to get the newly-upgraded car fixed before the second free practice session in the afternoon.
The lovely moment also reminded some other fans of a similar situation with a Kimi Raikonnen fan when he was driving for Ferrari. The young fan was also seen crying the crowds before later meeting his hero.
Another fan commented:
"You make me feel bad for making Perez jokes Time to change my life"
