Reflecting on his qualifying performance, Perez was candid about his final attempt, stating:

"I didn't get much of an improvement on the final lap, which is why we missed the front row.

"Overall, Max had a tremendous lap and that wasn't possible for me today but being on the front row was achievable"

Yet, the Mexican driver's spirits remained high. With an eye on the race ahead, he conveyed a blend of realism and optimism.

"Anyway, we are still in the fight for tomorrow. It's a long race and anything can really happen."

Perez further elaborated on his expectations for the race tomorrow, predicting a dynamic and engaging battle due to the competitive nature of the teams and their proximity on the grid. He concluded:

"It will be quite interesting. I think it will be a long, fun race. I think there will be plenty of action. The cars around is are all very close, so it will be an interesting battle tomorrow."
