The Silverstone track authorities have made a huge announcement of British rapper Stormzy taking the stage for an evening performance on Friday, 5th July after free practice, marking it as his debut Silverstone appearance during the British Grand Prix 2024 weekend.

It's been barely three months since we saw the British Grand Prix 2023 play out at Silverstone, where Max Verstappen took another victory (obviously), followed by Lando Norris securing P2, and Lewis Hamilton taking P3.

The Silverstone circuit's management has not only signed a performance with Stormzy but, has also added the link to purchase tickets for the 2024 British GP. Prices for available tickets for Sunday's race range from £279 to £539. If one wishes to just attend Friday's FP1 and F2 in addition to the concert, prices start from £119 and go all the way up to £319.

While Stormzy takes the stage on Friday, Saturday evening would allow fans to sing along with Pete Tong, Jules Buckley, and The Essential Orchestra to ever-popular Ibiza classics. Closing the fabulous race weekend on Sunday would be in the hands of the band Rudimental, known for their hits such as ‘These Days’, ‘Waiting All Night’, and ‘Feel The Love.'

Explaining the grand plan on the circuit's official website, here's what Silverstone’s Commercial Director Nick Read had to inform the readers:

“Our long-term ambition has always been to establish Silverstone as a venue that attracts the biggest and best artists in the world to put on a spectacular show for the British fans. It’s an honour to announce Stormzy, Pete Tong and Rudimental as the first names on our line-up for the 2024 British Grand Prix.

"We knew we had a massive job on our hands following the great success of this year’s music offering, so we are thrilled to be able to take things up another notch - with more huge global acts still to be announced!”

If you thought that was it, there's more! Track authorities are yet to finalize and announce the artist for Thursday's opening concert. In the past, DJ Calvin Harris, Jess Glynne, and Cat Burns took to the main stage for a memorable night of partying that opened the British Grand Prix weekend with a bang.
