After finishing in P8, Lewis Hamilton appeared to be very unhappy with the way his Mercedes team handled their strategy at the Austrian Grand Prix.

Throughout the race, Hamilton had lots to see about the track's limitations on the team radio, roaring complaints about other drivers and how they could have potentially surpassed these limits.

"This car is slow mate." I can't keep it on the track...it won't turn."[Perez] has been off every single time on turn 10... any penalty yet?"

Complaints from Hamilton via the Team Radio

The seven-time world champion felt that the Mercedes Paddock were not competitive and was speaking about it to his engineer throughout the race, while throwing some shade at the W14 for its inability to keep up with the rest of the cars on the grid.

Mercedes Team boss, Toto Wolff, was tired of Hamilton's bickering and wasted no time to tell him so on the radio.

"Lewis, the car is bad, we know. Please drive it."

This feud over the team radio in Austria left fans in awe of the possible drama that could be happening in the Mercedes paddock, but Wolff put a quick stop to that possibility after the race.

“You should hear us talking on the phone and meeting each other. That was nothing."

“We have had a bad weekend, all of us in the team, and that just makes us stronger."

As interesting as the fight might've seemed throughout the race, it's good to see that the relationship between the Mercedes elites is unphased, especially with Lewis Hamilton's contract still to be confirmed with the Brackley squad.

Mercedes has struggled so far this season, but with a large upgrade package coming to Silverstone for the British Grand Prix, we're hoping to see the team fight for a spot on the podium.
